SlayDots Group-Buy (Pool) Rules

Last updated: 22 October 2026

These rules are part of the SlayDots Business Terms of Sale. If they differ from the terms for a pool, these rules win. "We" means BUNBUN LABS LIMITED, the seller on every order. "Days" means calendar days.

The short version

  • You join a pool with a 30% deposit. You may pay 100% upfront instead.
  • You may leave and get a full refund until the pool reaches its target. Once the pool fills, you cannot leave.
  • When the pool fills, we send a balance invoice. The balance is due within 5 days after the pool fills.
  • If you do not pay the balance on time, we keep your deposit to cover the costs of the committed order. You owe nothing further for those units. Your slot goes to the waitlist.
  • If the pool misses its target, we extend once (for up to 7 days), take the remaining units ourselves (neutral, resellable products only), or cancel and refund every deposit in full.
  • Refunds go to the original payment method within 14 days.
  • Pool money is kept in a separate Airwallex wallet. We do not spend it until the pool fills. We place the factory order only after all balances are in.
  • What you pay to the pool is the goods price only. Shipping, import duty and import taxes are invoiced separately, when the goods reach our hub in China.

1. What a pool is

1.1 A pool lets several business buyers order together so that, between them, they reach the factory's minimum order quantity (MOQ). The MOQ is the smallest order the factory will make.

1.2 You can join a pool with a smaller quantity than the MOQ.

1.3 You buy from BUNBUN LABS LIMITED. You do not buy from the other buyers in the pool, and you do not buy from the factory.

1.4 You need a business account to join (Terms, section 2).

2. What every pool has

Each pool page shows:

  • one product variant
  • one branding mode: neutral, or own brand (see below)
  • one shipping route: via Johor (for Malaysia and Singapore), to the United Kingdom, or to the Netherlands
  • a target of 110–120% of the factory MOQ
  • tier prices
  • a deadline 2–4 weeks out

The hub. Our hub is our shipping agent's consolidation warehouse in China. The goods are received, checked and packed for export there before they ship to you.

Tier prices. The more units committed in total, the lower the price per unit. The tier is set by the total quantity committed when the pool closes. Units we take ourselves (section 8) count towards that total. Everyone in the pool pays that tier price, whenever they joined, so you never pay more than the price shown when you joined. If you paid 100% upfront and the final tier price is lower, we refund the difference within 14 days after the pool fills.

Own-brand pools. Own brand inside a pool is possible only where the factory allows several brands in one MOQ. The pool page shows the minimum per brand and the logo set-up fee. The fee is paid with your deposit (or with your 100% upfront payment). We refund it if the pool is cancelled or if you leave before the pool fills. It is not refunded in other cases. You must own the rights to your logo or brand. In the UK and the EU, the brand owner counts as the manufacturer for labelling and other product duties (Terms, section 8).

3. Joining a pool

3.1 Pick your quantity on the pool page. Then choose how to pay:

  • a 30% deposit, or
  • 100% upfront.

3.2 You can pay the deposit or the 100% upfront payment by card or by bank transfer.

3.3 Joining is a confirmed checkout. It is a binding order for your quantity, on these rules and the Terms. You may still leave before the pool fills (section 9).

3.4 What you pay to the pool is the goods price: the tier price for your quantity (section 2). The pool page also shows an estimate of shipping, import duty and import taxes. You do not pay that estimate when you join. We invoice the actual amounts when the goods reach our hub (Terms, section 5).

4. Where your money is held

4.1 Pool money is kept in a separate Airwallex wallet.

4.2 We do not spend it until the pool fills.

4.3 We place the factory order only after all balances are in.

5. When the pool fills

5.1 The pool fills when it reaches its target. It then closes, the tier price is fixed (section 2), and balance invoices go out.

5.2 Your balance is the rest of your goods price at the final tier, after your deposit. After a 30% deposit at an unchanged tier, the balance is 70%. If you paid 100% upfront, there is no balance.

5.3 The balance is due within 5 days after the day the pool fills. The invoice shows the due date.

5.4 Pay the balance by bank transfer.

5.5 When all balances are in, we place the factory order. A third party inspects the pooled lot before it ships. The goods then travel as set out in the Terms (section 9). When they reach our hub, we send you a shipping invoice for shipping, import duty and import taxes, due within 7 days (Terms, section 5).

6. If you do not pay the balance on time

6.1 If you do not pay your balance by the due date, we keep your deposit.

6.2 This covers the costs of the committed order. When the pool fills, we commit to the order for the whole pool: the tier price for everyone is fixed on a total that includes your units, and the other buyers rely on the order going ahead. If you do not pay, we have to offer your units to the waitlist, take them into our own stock, or change the order, and we bear the costs and risks of doing that.

6.3 You owe nothing further for those units. Your order for them ends.

6.4 Your slot goes to the waitlist (section 7).

7. The waitlist

7.1 The waitlist is a list of buyers who want a slot if one opens.

7.2 A slot can open when a buyer does not pay the balance on time (section 6).

7.3 You join the waitlist from the pool page. We offer a released slot to buyers in the order they joined the waitlist. You have 24 hours to accept an offer. If you do not accept in time, we offer the slot to the next buyer. A released slot costs the same tier price as the rest of the pool. The offer tells you how much to pay and by when.

7.4 If nobody takes a released slot, the pool goes ahead if it is still at its target. If it is not, we treat it as a missed target, and section 8 applies.

8. If the pool misses its target

8.1 If the pool has not reached its target by the deadline, we do one of three things. We choose which.

  1. Extend once. We extend the deadline for up to 7 days and tell you the new deadline. While the extension runs, the pool has not filled, so anyone may leave with a full refund (section 9).
  2. Take the remaining units ourselves. We only do this for neutral products that we can resell. The pool then fills, and balance invoices go out as normal.
  3. Cancel the pool. We refund every deposit in full. If you paid 100% upfront, we refund that in full. We also refund any logo set-up fee.

8.2 We extend only once. If the target is still missed after the extension, we take the remaining units (neutral, resellable products only) or cancel.

8.3 We tell you which option we chose by WhatsApp or email.

9. Leaving a pool

9.1 Until the pool reaches its target, including during an extension, you may leave. We refund everything you paid to the pool in full: your deposit or 100% upfront payment, and any logo set-up fee.

9.2 Once the pool fills, you cannot leave. Your order is binding. You must pay the balance. If you do not pay it on time, we keep your deposit (section 6).

9.3 To leave, tell us by WhatsApp or email. If the pool fills before we receive your message, you can no longer leave.

10. Refunds

10.1 We refund in full when you leave before the pool fills, when we cancel the pool, and when we cancel your order under the Terms (section 3.5). We also refund the tier difference on a 100% upfront payment (section 2).

10.2 "In full" means everything you paid to the pool for those units. That includes a 100% upfront payment and any logo set-up fee.

10.3 We pay the refund within 14 days of the day it becomes due: for example, the day we confirm that you have left, or the day we cancel the pool. We pay it to the original payment method. A card payment goes back to the same card. A bank transfer goes back to the account it came from.

10.4 You do not get a refund of a deposit we keep under section 6.

11. Worked example

This example uses made-up numbers. It is not a real product or price.

The pool

  • Factory MOQ: 500 units.
  • Pool target: 550 units. That is 110% of the MOQ.
  • Deadline: 3 weeks from the start.

Your order

  • You commit to 50 units.
  • The tier price when you join is 20.00 per unit, in your currency.
  • Goods price: 50 x 20.00 = 1,000.00.
  • The pool page also shows a shipping, duty and tax estimate of 2.50 per unit (125.00). You do not pay this when you join.

Shipping, duty and import taxes

The 125.00 shown when you joined was an estimate. When the goods reach our hub in China, we confirm the actual shipping charge, import duty and import taxes for your 50 units, for example 118.40, and send you a shipping invoice for that amount. You pay it within 7 days, and then your goods ship, duty-paid. If you do not pay within 7 days, storage at the hub may be charged at cost. If the invoice is still unpaid 30 days after its date, we may sell or dispose of the goods after giving you written notice (Terms, section 5).
